Moved by a fascination with myth, fantasy, tragedy, farce and narratives of all sorts, I work both traditionally and digitally. I graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design and am currently working as a Designer/Illustrator at American Greetings World Headquarters. Evenings and weekends (when not distracted by picnics, bike rides or naps), I paint, draw and write with plans for one day publishing my own books. I've shown in galleries in Florida, Ohio and North Carolina and frequently undertake commissioned pieces. The mingling of the endearing and the dreadful is in much of my work, although I tend to make an attempt at subtle humor in my more gloomy concepts.

Each piece is hand-cut by me out of 2-ply Strathmore paper. Some are painted with acrylic and layered on wood, sponges or board.
