Since early childhood, I remember long afternoons fascinated by picture books & magazines. I also remember my all too brief, though intense delight, when I misappropriated the family Brownie & double-exposed our latent holiday pictures with my own masterpieces of pets & friends. Now, some sixty years later, I still gleefully photograph, & I'm still very much delighted by it all.

I’m a Southern California visual artist, making images that hopefully tempts the viewer to pause & experience a shared sense of fascination, fear, wonder, beauty, pathos, anger, delight or disgust, even if only for a moment.

My joy then, is first seeing things in a new way, & then successfully sharing an intense grasp of sensual awareness with others. These are all very human passions, & in truth, an essential part of life for me.
