Art is a vehicle of exploring many things and subjects that fascinate me, like the human kind, the world around me, as well as different cultures and heritages."
Yousef left behind her career as a dentist for that of an artist when she immigrated to the United States from Syria. She achieved a double major degree in Studio Art and Art History as an honored student and a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society in the United States.
Yousef's focus is on sculpting and painting, and she is drawn to Classical and Renaissance art, which she views as the cornerstone of our contemporary art world.
