Elidea is an Italian artist born in Milan, Italy. After finishing her studies at the European Design Institute (Milan) with a specialization in computer graphics, she started working with several design studios in Milan. She collaborated as a professor at the European Design Institute of Milan for a Music Discography Graphics course. A personal passion for contemporary art and photography, together with a strong background in computer graphics allows her to obtain new expressive forms. Collecting suggestions and elements from everyday life, everything around her provides inspiration: magazines, old books, web, photos…Cut, paste, and overlay thanks to the computer allows her to create graphic visions; often surrealistic, full of stimulus and coherent to her own graphic taste. Each piece of her art is a media mix of digital art, collage and acrylic paint colors.“Each painting takes on a life of it’s own and I always feel it’s a collaboration between myself and the piece of art itself. It could only ever happen that exact way on that day at that time in that place and never again. This is what is so special.” She has a unique talent for realizing personal portraits, unique images obtained with special graphic treatments and paint, like “modern PORTRAITS”-. “I love to celebrate life’s perfect moments on canvas, capture the essence of the person just follow my art instinct mixed with my heart”.
