Riitta Klint was born in Helsinki, Finland. She grew up internationally living in Iran, Portugal, Indonesia, and Germany and has traveled extensively. She received a BS degree in Fashion Design and Textiles from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BFA degree from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida. She currently maintains a studio in Miami at the IRON SIDE campus in Miami’s Industrial Business District.
