I am a painter and writer. All my works of art have their own story. The source of inspiration for my artwork is my king poodle Lady. I made a design of her: surreal, stylized and yellow. I colored her eyes deep blue. This is how “The Blue-Eyed Lady” was born. With her blue eyes she not only looks at our society but also gives her opinion about it, in her own way “to the point”. Thanks to “The Blue-eyed Lady” I can highlight many social themes that characterize our society. A society depicted in oil paintings and literature. The texts are hung next to the paintings (changeable frame 18 x 24 cm). “The Blue-eyed Lady” therefore confronts the viewer with countless sociological aspects and challenges of the twenty-first century: the degradation of our environment, the stress and bustle of everyday life, unemployment, transparent humanity, the scourge of terrorism, doubts about our future, the growing diversity in our streets, etc.
I hope that “The Blue-Eyed Lady” will encourage people to take more interest in the “real” problems in the world, stimulate discussion and criticism, and ultimately lead to changes that provide solutions to the problems facing our contemporary world. In any case, “The Blue-Eyed Lady” will often make the audience smile and touch their hearts, without wanting to hurt them.
“The Blue-Eyed Lady” radically changed my life. She turned me into a socially committed artist, she absorbed all my attention and became without a doubt my life's work, my magnum opus.
For this special series of “The Blue-eyed Lady” I won several international prizes, including a silver medal from the “Arts, Sciences et Lettres” committee in Paris. In addition to organizing exhibitions for other artists, I exhibit internationally and have been mentioned in various art books for museums and art collectors.
The YouTube video of my exhibition at the Francesco Gonzaga Museum (Mantova, IT), where I will exhibit again in 2026, shows the works of “The Blue-eyed Lady”.
