Date of birth: 22. VIII. 1976, Bojnice, Central Slovakia
Nothing special in my life. In 1999 I finished Technical University in Zvolen, as a forestal engineer. After that I married, have 2 children, divorced and married again.
Since 2009 I have been livinig and working in Bratislava. In 2010 I’ve started to make photography, especialy artistic photography using old historical techniques, films, glass plates, old cameras from 24 x 36 mm to 18 x 24 cm. I don’t use any digital gear, all I do I do pure analog wet way in my darkroom. My favourit process is oilprint, but I also like to do cyanotype, BW photo, lithprint, wet collodion plate and liquid photoemulsion, E6 color and R100 bw process.
My typical part of work si photo on recycled glass in iron selfmade frames. Right in this time my darkroom is under reconstruction, so I try do linocuts, drypoints about what happened in my life.
This year I’ve started to desing and sew own models with my photos and pictures on.
These are real BW photographs on paper 640 g/m2 Winsor &Newton 58 x 78 cm. I have made them in my small darkroom. I still shot film and use old cameras and old techniques.
