CornerProjects encourages innovative engagements in public art utilizing the publicly owned and privately maintained outdoor space of a city parkway. CornerProjects exhibitions aim to highlight the intersections between public and private; urban and suburban; local and national as seen through the metaphor of the street corner as a place where two or more sides meet. Through dynamic online projects and public art exhibitions, artists and/or collectives are encouraged to consider the aesthetics of a city neighborhood. The exhibition space of CornerProjects, Chicago is located on the North/East corner at the intersection of Sunnyside Avenue and Narragansett Avenue in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL.
