Jeffrey Braxton photographs places and things that strike him suddenly and visually. While this is his only requirement for photographing anything, he is drawn inevitably to the facades of older buildings, rooms that are well-lived in, and spaces (indoors and outdoors) that are a little forlorn. Yet the light and shadow and the composition of the images give them dramatic life and even nobility. He then prints those images that evoke daydreams in him and hopefully in the viewer.
