At the end of 2000, the photographs with their memories above table Mirjam has drawn half years before they departed for France. They then worked with theater Meander from Uden, they provided the musical accompaniment (violin and saxophone) in a play by Garcia Lorca. A source of inspiration which led to the series "theater" where the man again central. Now, however, not the facial expressions an image, but the body postures. A la fin de l’année 2000 elle commence une série “ Théâtre” en souvenir d’une troupe théâtrale hollandaise où juste avant de partir en France, elle s’occupait de l’accompagnement musical (violon et saxophone) dans une pièce de Garcia Lorca.
Cette source d’inspiration donna naissance à une toute nouvelle collection très remarquée pour son originalité.
Les personnages en sont le sujet principal et l’expression corporelle des acteurs est mise en avant de façon subtile. Que se soit par un geste, une tête relevée, un corps plié, figé dans l’action, chaque scène laisse libre cours à l’imagination du spectateur ou du visiteur.
Beauté, ambiance et mouvements sont réunis dans cette nouvelle série qui pourrait s’appeler …Le “Théâtre de la vie” !
