The most recent works involve cut-out board canvas and 3 dimensional materials. I have come to believe Reality is expressed well if I can capture Qi in my art. Qi is flowing in the air and penetrating through any objects without border. Thus, eliminating the rectangular border of normal picture plane has become essential and creating energy by assembling the opposite forces within the art work like, in and out, beauty and ugliness, yin and yang, and so on. Ultimate goal is to feel intangible reality through tangible artwork. In this series, image titles contain Q.R. which stands for Qi Realism.
