Cheryl is currently creating works for her Motorcyclist Portrait Project, the Blackfeet Portrait Project and her latest series, Bloodlines. Each of the works in these series are created from hand drawn portraits of the individuals. Cheryl dyes the silk and cotton fabrics to create just the right tone and pattern required for each piece of the portrait. When she is satisfied she has achieved the composition she wants, she assembles and stitches the portrait to create the final art work.
