The Cloud is an interactive sculpture that incorporates LED light tubes inside a circular geometric form also known as a torus. The lighting element is activated by the viewer as they interrupt the infrared sensors with their hands or bodies via a control console. The torus itself is suspended overhead like a cloud. The lights, flash in synchronicity to the viewer interactions, reference lightning bolts within the cloud and serve as illumination for the area.
