I have been trying to push the lines between flat paintings and dimensional paintings. The last four pieces of my dimensional paintings are constructions that are made up of pieces of a 4 x 8 foot acrylic painting mounted on gator board. I was not happy with the painting so I cut it up and reconstructed it into 4 different works.
