The Unforgiving City is a collection of hand-painted artworks of the big city. Each piece is scanned at a stunning 4k resolution and digitally painted, animated. 20 to 100 animated cells are stacked and stabilized then flattened. The resulting artwork is a merger of both traditional paint with digital paint printed as a giclée on canvas then additional acrylic layers are added giving depth and color to the original image. This systematic process was created by the artist over many years.
