This mermaid image is an Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 vector recreation of an Adobe Photoshop art piece created in 1997 that made its first appearance in the AOL art forums. Since, it has seen published print in an article in Traditional Music Maker Magazine, used as product packaging for incense, numerous business signs (including a bikini shop in Hawaii), and gained the height of its popularity when I allowed use of the original image in art tubes used in other artist creations.
