About the exhibition: In accordance with its mission statement, CornerProjects, Chicago invites visual artists to submit explorations of loss through the genres of comedy, tragedy, mystery, etc, with an emphasis on the visual aesthetic of the common neighborhood lost and found flyer. Depending on available space, all submission will either be displayed simultaneously or rotationally. Flyers should be no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches. One entry per individual/collective. 7TH ANNUAL “OPEN” (NO THEME) ART EXHIBITION NOW ONLINE READY TO VIEW

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its 7th Annual “Open” 2017 art exhibition is now posted on their website and ready to be viewed online. 2D and 3D Artists (Including Photographers) were asked to submit their best representational or abstract art of a subject of their choice. The gallery received submissions from 26 different countries around the world, 38 different states. Overall, the gallery received 781 entries that were judged for this art competition. PATTERNS

Patterns are everywhere. Submissions to this competition should reveal patterns in the worlds of nature, structures. the world in which we live such as our cities or urban areas, and on objects or human forms. Patterns can define a surface, invite us to travel in space or time. They may be simple or complex, subtle or obvious. Submission deadline is September 24, 2017. Entry fee is $35 for first five images and $5 for each additional image up to a total of 10 images.
