It was a pleasant autumn evening full of beauty of art in spacious Graffit gallery in the center of my native town Varna. I met a lot of friends, colleagues, my students and fans. Thank you for the organization !
I was going to paint my paintings for about three years, I thought about every step, about every movement for a long time. I really liked the works of Jackson Pollock, especially No. 8 and No. 5. I could look at them for hours, but did not dare to repeat something like that. Once I realized that I had discovered conscious abstract expressionism. Unlike Jackson Pollock, who didn’t know what would happen, I think about the picture for a long time (maybe a few months), I invent the name, make sketches at 1:50, choose colors, draw and only when everything is thought out, I start work on a large canvas. It remains only to fulfill my plans, add an expression, then some kind of miracle will happen (I call it magic), and the picture is ready. I sometimes think that Pollock himself helps me .....
