“Unforgettable Childhood”, A group show curated by Ermanno Tedeschi at the former San Rocco Hospital, Matera, Italy. “…Art has given us a picture of childhood and adolescence that can be compared to a sociological and anthropological treatise. We’ve all been children. There’s nothing to force us to become mothers, fathers, husbands or wives during our lifetime, but the very fact that we exist means that we have to have had a childhood: we all share this and it’s indelible. Unforgettable Childhood is a project which looks at that childhood, unforgettable for memories that are good and for those that are more painful and sad….” Ermanno Tedeschi
