As spring is slowly settling in I wanted to show you one of my favourite spring artworks. I did it in oil and acrylic on canvas. Spring is a very inspiring time of the year with the blooming of colours, shapes and sizes.

Werner impressed me for me many reasons. She is a real painter; an artist who shows rigorous work and technique. Composing with rhythm, adding dreams, imagination, and poetry. Managing a personal language, taking what is real and adding her whole inner imagery. The city is reinvented by her, who gives her boats, cans, and characters a knocking effect. They have strength, effort, anger, pain, nostalgia. This female painter has a determined line and composition, color, mixture of tenacity, tenderness. There is nothing more difficult than being a painter; and being a female painter is almost heroic. Carmen Silva Master in Fine Arts
