FORCE OF NATURE EXHIBITION

posted by Kim Walker

"Passionate Soul" is at the Shemer Arts Center in Phoenix, Arizona in the Force of Nature Exhibition (May 7th through June 18th) This painting measures 46 X 46 X 2 on birch panel with two-inch gallery wrapped basswood sides. This mixed-media painting is overflowing with natural botanic elements such as leaves, petals, grasses, etc. as well as acrylics and paint mediums. It is a must see up-close-and-personal. I wrote the following poem for this painting and it is hand-written on the back. PASSIONATE SOUL So tender the touch From the humble hand So sweet the sound From soft words spoken So light the feeling From the kindred spirit So shining the eyes From the passionate soul.
