I've walked this pier so many times and have made so many wishes by tossing a sea shell over the edge. When I was painting it so many of those wonderful memories came to mind.
we successfull in our life when we an Abondon the caste,poor & rich , good or bad etc system. when everything is possible in whole world. I paint a close door is the symbol of an abondon
When I walk out onto the pier I can hear the ocean crashing on the bottom and sometimes over the edge, as I walk the power of this brings to mind the almighty force the ocean has and how it can easily wash all this away, and of my own mortality. When my thoughts get to heavy I go to the ocean and envision this power washing away my worries.. I did this painting as that reminder.
