THE ALCHEMY OF REMAINS II

Ruins, old buildings and vintage photos are some of the things that tweak my creative energies. When I wander through a historical site my imagination takes flight wondering who might have lived, worked, played, loved in the now silent buildings and streets. I often find the silence "thundering" as breezes animate fragments of the remains of those who are now gone. In this work, I'm evoking the feeling that the essence of beings quietly float in the present ruins. The viewer, of course, is welcome to make a personal story.

DAZZLING PINKS

Pale pink petals froth and flutter as these blooms shake themselves to reveal their true beauty. Deceased appendages discarded, they can truly dazzle their beholder with freshly coiffured-locks.
