Mi troverete alla XXV° Rassegna "Arte sul Naviglio Grande" di fianco al Vicolo dei Lavandai, il posto più caratteristico del Naviglio. Il giorno 19 e 20 maggio 2012 dalle ore 9.00 alle ore 19.00. Se volete venire a trovarmi per me sarà un piacere salutarvi e farvi vedere le ultime sculture realizzate.
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its May 2012 art exhibition “Nature” is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. Artists were asked to interpret the theme “Nature" by depicting the physical world. “Nature” was considered to be anything that was not created by or has been substantially altered by man. One of the projects I am currently in the midst of involves a growing colony of crocheted yarn sacs, or pods, which I then stuff to the brim with my dried up used tea bags. It's been a pleasure to return to the act of crocheting; the tug of the yarn, the meditative repetition of hooking each loop. I must confess as well a connection I've drawn between building these cocoons and the little baby growing inside the safety of my womb. I imagine the installation of these pods to be hanging from a variety of surfaces; the ceiling, walls, corners, clusters on the floor. We'll see...
