MY HAPPY PLACE

posted by BonSack Gallery

Artist, Debra Bonsack unleashes a new mixed media series entitled "My Happy Place". The moving depictions render simple memories of a carefree time, free of worries and filled with the spirit of youth. The unique mix of mediums is recognized as a style all its own. The fluid acrylic mixed with impasto has the thickly textured quality of palet knife oil while keeping with the free fluidness of watercolor. In addition to the unique medium, the compositions take on their own cleverness as the museum wrapped canvass jet outside the conventional rectangle. This prolific professional artist has been painting since the age of seven and her works can be found in collections around the world.
