Some new paintings are now available for your interest and perusal.They are all unique, original paintings done in acrylics on stretched canvas and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Prices range from $50.00 for a painting 30cm x 45cm to $250.00 for a painting 90cm x90cm Payment can be made through Paypal or via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Contact me at di.mcconville@iinet.net.au for bank details.. In my work as a painter I seek ex-pression and a deeper knowledge of these issues and in that pursuit a profound experience of being intensely alive. It is here that one’s life has resonance within our innermost being, knowing the intense rapture of life. By following our passion and our bliss and by being willing to enter the "underground", we find paths that have been there all the while, waiting for each of us. The life we live becomes the life we should be living and one has the opportunity to know the fire of passion and the continuing renewal of the life within. On this wondrous path, being an artist makes me become an instrument of story telling, spirituality, faith, seeing, knowing, exploration and celebration.
Dans mon travail pictural,actuellement,j'obtiens par la superposition de peinture matte et brillante un jeu de lumière qui accentue l'effet de profondeur,qui révèle la douceur de le teinte,la force de le forme. Sur un fond travaillé,dans un geste spontané,je laisse couler,quelques fois en épaisseur,la matière pour donner une dynamique sculpturale.Je recherche une transcription simple,épurée,j'évite l'anecdote
