I am Frieda Linke living in the town of Stayner Ontario, where I own and operate my gallery & art supply business. Painting is my perferred medium; my work has been classed as Contemporary Realism ranging from landscapes to portraits in acrylics and some oils. It has only been in the last 5 years I have made my work public, at the age of 52 better late than never! In this time I have gone from a simple home studio to owning a registered gallery and I did my first national exhibition in Montreal in 2010. CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: PHOTOGRAPHERS AND DIGITAL ARTISTS Exhibition Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artist, (EWW) which includes graphic designers and illustrators, announces a CALL for submissions to "OPEN", the January online exhibition, January 1-31, 2012. Entry Fee $15 US for up to 5 images. Deadline Date for submissions: Nov. 30, 2011. Appropriate submissions include any subject matter and any style of photography or digital art. Over $1,500 dollars in cash and prizes will be awarded to the top tree finalist. A solo exhibition for the "Best In Competition" will be online through out the month of February, 2012.
