Sometimes artists have no better name for their works than "Untitled." As Laurie Maves was completing the series of works for a Denver show called, "hand of spirit," she was about to leave these works as simply works with no title. She was to name them, "Untitled." Recently, however, someone had referred to her as being, "entitled." Although, the artist initially felt the term was meant to be derogatory, she later came to understand that the term meant many uplifting and powerfully positively things to her.
