This is scratch-board. I had difficulty with the color. First, I used an alcohol based yellow ink which turned green when it mixed with the black ink. Then I used a yellow ochre ink that had an acrylic pigment. That filled in the scratches obliterating the fur appearance. Finally, I cleaned it and went with colored pencils; yellow ochre, terra cotta, sienna, beige, white, canary yellow, dark umber and pink. I'm glad I didn't give up. I am quite pleased with the result.
