This collection of work examines liminal spaces as destinations. It aims to create a sense of unease, and yet, at the same time a sense of comfort.
Liminal spaces are often seen as a transformative place that exists between psychological states. Kayla enjoys the nostalgic feelings they bring but challenges the notion of them being transitionary. Though they are meant to be passed through, Kayla questions what happens if we stay in a liminal space and embrace the disconnection from reality.
