Mixed media artist, Laurie Maves, created a series of a dozen Frida Kahlo portraits in the fall of 2013. Laurie has extensively studied the works of Mexican surrealist artist, Frida Kahlo, and even made a pilgrimage to her home, the Casa Azul, in the spring of 2013.
