I took the Pacific Coast Highway south, from Paradise Cove in Malibu, down to Santa Monica, with it's carny-like Pier and California beach lifestyle.
Then on to Venice Beach and it's boardwalk, a virtual sidewalk circus & walk 'n' rolling skin show, including the world famous Muscle Beach . . . and then finally, Marina Del Rey, quiet and less crowded compared to Venice and Santa Monica.
