Tisza-Kalmar by Tisza-Kalmar

I was born in Budapest in 1952. My mother guided me towards art, and I took her surname - Tisza. I started my painting studies at primary school under the guidance of René Benkő, an art teacher. Later, I continued my studies with Jenő Barcsay, a famous painter and professor at the University of Fine Arts, who is also renowned abroad. I also owe a lot to sculptor Miklós Borsos.
From 1979 I continued my studies in London. In 1985 I moved to Vienna. Since 1988 I live in Hungary, in a small village.
I am a member of the Association of Hungarian Artists and Craftsmen.
I have had thirty solo exhibitions so far.
