CONTENTED SIGHS

Deep sighs of contentment can be detected amongst the array of twinkling blooms, like children happily munching their favourite nibbles and swinging legs on chairs. Faces are upturned and warming in the sun. Life feels as good as it can get.

PORTAL OF WORLDS

posted by Patrick Joosten

Portal of Worlds Patrick Joosten's painting Portal of Worlds immerses us in a universe where the duality of worlds is expressed through a composition that is both structured and fluid. A large white flow crosses the canvas diagonally, like a dividing line, a fragile but essential border between two opposing realities. The white flow that separates these two universes could be perceived as a passage, a fragile border, but also a meeting zone between shadow and light. This link between the worlds seems to evoke a transition, a point of transformation, an opening towards new possibilities. Portal of Worlds is a work that releases a creative tension between shadow and light and invites us to explore these two facets of human existence, sometimes in opposition, sometimes in harmony. Original artwork signed P. Joosten at the front and at the back. Dimensions 95 x 95 x 4 cm. Sold with invoice and certificate of authenticity. 2025 - January 30th
